PONY [Cisco]

PONY Capture/Display System is a complete image workstation that capturesand stores images on disk. These images are normally appended to theCISCO database and can be viewed or printed in photographic quality colorusing the optional film printer. The images can be stored on a hard diskof the workstation or transferred to the central computer using the LOCUSPCI software. Thus, PONY is available in a single-user version and themulti-user version which can be integrated into UNIX OS and Local AreaNetworks. Each image takes about 6KB of disk space using the VideoCompression Board. The video capture device can be a live action camera,a still camera, or a document scanner in the case of printed matter.
